Case Study: Hereford City Centre
Concrete Effect Quartz
Project Overview
This new-build home in central Hereford was designed with a minimalist, industrial aesthetic. The owners chose a concrete-effect quartz to achieve a raw, urban look without the practical drawbacks of real concrete.
The Challenge
To maintain the minimalist look, the clients requested very thin upstands and a flush-mounted induction hob. This required extremely precise cutting and finishing to ensure the hob sat perfectly level with the worktop, creating a single, sleek surface.
The Result
The concrete-effect quartz worktops are the cornerstone of the kitchen's industrial design. They provide a durable, non-porous, and easy-to-clean surface that perfectly captures the minimalist aesthetic the clients desired.
