Calacatta Gold Quartz Island

Project Overview

This project in Leominster centred on creating a luxurious and functional kitchen island as the centerpiece of an open-plan living area. The client selected Calacatta Gold quartz for its stunning marble-like veining and superior durability.

The Challenge

The island featured a waterfall edge, where the quartz appears to flow seamlessly from the top down the sides. This required precise mitred cuts and expert fabrication to ensure the veins in the quartz pattern matched perfectly around the corners, creating an illusion of a solid block of marble.

The Result

The finished island is a showstopper. The Calacatta Gold quartz provides the opulent look of high-end marble without the maintenance concerns, making it the perfect focal point for both cooking and socialising.
